With newspaper and magazine clippings brought by the moderator and participants, participants practiced creative collage-making.

The roots of the trees depict the past, the trunk depicts the present, and the leaves and branches depict the future dreams and goals, as demonstrated by the participants.

Participants represented how they understood themselves and/or how they would like to see themselves in the future through using a portrait sketch.

Participants prepared or painted postcards to send (either in reality or imagination) to whomever they wanted.
